Trinity was founded by a dedicated group of parents in 1950. It was originally a school for children with developmental disabilities. Now through December 15, The Coleman Foundation will match every gift of $125 made to Trinity Services for Giving Tuesday. Every gift makes a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. A native of the state of Georgia, Moss was born on February 26, 1935 and was raised in the community of LaGrange. The son of Magnolia Moss and Otis Moss, Sr. and the fourth of their five children, he earned his B. Degree from Morehouse College in 1956 and his Masters of Divinity Degree from the Morehouse School of Religion/Interdenominational Theological Center in 1959.
We are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and are a member of the Northeastern Ohio Synod. Founded in 1806, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is one of the oldest active Lutheran congregations in Ohio. We are a vibrant, welcoming community of more than 200 members.
Our Pastor also traveled as a member of a clergy mission to the Far East in 1970 and to Israel 1978. In 1994, he was the special guest of President William Jefferson Clinton at the Peace Treaty signing between Israel and Jordan, and, in that same year, he led a special mission to South Africa. From 1956 to 1961, he also served as pastor of Atlanta's Providence Baptist Church and therefore, simultaneously led two congregations from 1956 to 1959.
We believe that these play a significant role in the health journey of patients with life-limiting illness.
